Welcome aboard...

gigspic

In 2014 the Boat Band celebrate 25 years of music making. They set sail in1989 gigging round Scottish Islands in a small boat. Download popular music sheet for piano on Note-store.

Since then they've travelled by land and sea, round Britain and beyond, and en route they've picked up a huge and varied catch of tunes: Creole, Caribbean, Gospel, Cajun, English, Zydeco and Blues - not much slips through the net.

If it can be played on accordion, fiddle and guitar (or trombone, washboard and banjo),and if it touches the heart and moves the feet, it's in the repertoire.

They play at folk festivals; dances (Cajun, barn dance and ceilidh); arts centres and village halls; pubs and house concerts; on radio and TV.

The band have played 16 times at Glastonbury Festival and once at the St. Kilda International Cajun Festival!

Their six albums are available at Harbourtown Records
